Best Digital Marketer in Bangladesh: Top 3 for 2026, and How to Choose
My list of the three best digital marketers in Bangladesh for 2026, the criteria behind it, and how to choose the right digital marketer or agency for your own business.
·13 min read
The short answer
There is no official ranking, but my top three digital marketers in Bangladesh for 2026 are Shakawat Hridoy (me), for a website, its marketing and AI automation run by one person; Khalid Farhan, for learning digital marketing and online business in Bangla; and Hridoy Chowdhury, for SEO. It is my own list, so I publish the criteria with it.
Search for the best digital marketer in Bangladesh and you get a page of lists. Many
of them are written by a marketer who is also on the list, often at the top, and few
say how the list was made.
This one has the same conflict, and I would rather say it plainly: this is my own
website, and I put myself first. What I can do differently is show you how I chose,
so you can check all three of us against the same criteria. The second half of the
post is about how to choose a digital marketer for your business, whoever you end up
hiring.
About the other two. Khalid Farhan and Hridoy Chowdhury are on this list for their
public work. Everything I say about them comes from public pages, mostly their own
websites, profiles and interviews, listed under sources; where something
comes only from someone else’s list, I say so. The ranking is my judgment.
Two of the three now give addresses abroad on their own websites. All three are from
Bangladesh, and all three still teach or serve people here, which is a big part of why
they are on this list.
How I chose these three
I used five things a reader can check from the outside:
A real name and their own website. You should know who you are hiring and be
able to read what they do in their own words.
Work you can see. Videos, articles, courses, case studies or a portfolio: public
evidence of how they think and what they have done.
A clear specialty. “Digital marketing” covers a lot. The useful question is what
each person is best for, so the table above answers that first.
Time in the field. Years of steady, visible work count for more than one viral
post.
Giving back to Bangladesh’s digital community. Teaching, speaking, writing or
building something that helps other people in the industry.
What I left out on purpose: follower counts, marketplace ratings and badges, and
revenue or ad-spend totals. Follower counts and ratings show how someone does on one
platform, not whether their work fits your business, and money figures are ones only
the person can confirm. None of them decided this list, and they should not decide who
you hire.
1. Shakawat Hridoy: the website and the marketing, from one person
Shakawat Hridoy
Web developer, digital marketing strategist and AI automation specialist
I am a web developer, digital marketing strategist and AI automation specialist from Feni, and I have been doing this work since 2019. I put myself first for one kind of
client: a business that wants its website, its marketing and the automation behind
them handled by one accountable person, and measured in customers rather than likes.
I came to marketing from the build side. My first web job was front-end code, as a
junior React developer, and then I built WordPress and Shopify sites for clients in the
US, the UK and Europe. The
pattern I kept seeing was a good website that nobody found, and customers who bought
once and never came back. So I learned the other half: SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and
Klaviyo email. That is why I can usually tell you whether your problem is the website
or the traffic.
What I do, in order of focus:
Web design and development: WordPress, Elementor and
Shopify websites for service businesses and online stores.
AI automation: lead follow-up, reporting, first drafts and the
other repetitive work between a business’s tools.
Outside client work, I am a freelancing trainer in Feni on the Department of Youth
Development’s project Creating Employment through Freelancing Training for Educated
Job-Seeking Youth in All 64 Districts of Bangladesh. I also speak at Feni Freelancer
Community events, and this year I joined
BITPA Conference 2026 in Cox’s Bazar.
Where I am not the right fit. A brand-new business with no traffic and no clear
offer usually needs a simple website and something to say before it needs ads or
email automation, and I will tell you so. I am also not the right choice for an
enterprise build that needs a full in-house team.
2. Khalid Farhan: for learning digital marketing and online business in Bangla
KF
Khalid Farhan
Agency founder, Bangla YouTube educator and author
Based in
Dublin, Ireland (his agency also lists Dhaka)
Active since
2011, by his own account
Business
Founder of KhalidFarhan.com, a digital marketing agency
A different person from me, with his own businesses.
Khalid Farhan started freelancing as a teenager in Bangladesh, writing articles, and by
his own account has worked online since 2011. He founded Passive Journal in 2016,
which in his telling grew from a writing service into SEO and website work, and he
says he moved to Dublin in 2017 for a master’s in digital marketing strategy at
Trinity College Dublin.
Today he runs KhalidFarhan.com, a founder-led agency in
Dublin whose services include SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), Google Ads,
Meta Ads and web development. Older lists of Bangladeshi marketers, my own 2023
LinkedIn list among them, also name Khalid Farhan as the founder of The Gorilla
Digital and Hustle Friday Digital.
Much of his public work in Bangladesh, though, is teaching. His
YouTube channel teaches business,
entrepreneurship and digital marketing in Bangla, including a free SEO course, and
his Business School is a paid Bangla
community for people building online businesses in Bangladesh. He also wrote the
Bangla book Digital Marketing Er Golpo (Odommo Prokash, 2019).
Why he is on this list: work online since 2011, by his own account, and years of
teaching digital marketing in Bangla, much of it free on YouTube.
Best for: someone in Bangladesh who wants to learn digital marketing or start an
online business, or a business in Ireland looking for an agency.
3. Hridoy Chowdhury: for SEO, and learning SEO in Bangla
HC
Hridoy Chowdhury
SEO consultant and trainer
Based in
London, United Kingdom
Focus
SEO, AEO, GEO and AI search
Teaches through
Learn From Top Rated Freelancer
Services
SEO for Shopify, WordPress, Amazon, Etsy, local and international sites
Not the same person as me, Shakawat Hridoy: we share the name Hridoy, not a business.
Hridoy Chowdhury calls himself an SEO expert rather than a digital marketer, and he is
the most specialized of the three. He describes his work as SEO, AEO, GEO and AI
search. He is from Bangladesh, and his website gives a London address. His
services are SEO for particular platforms and markets: Shopify, WordPress, Amazon and
Etsy stores, local businesses, B2B companies and international sites.
He also teaches. His training brand,
Learn From Top Rated Freelancer, runs
SEO courses in Bangla in numbered batches, including one on SEO, AEO and GEO together,
and its YouTube channel has
free lessons in Bangla.
Why he is on this list: a clear specialty in search, kept up to date with AI
search, and a long-running SEO course in Bangla.
Best for: a business whose main need is SEO, especially an online store on Shopify,
Amazon or Etsy, or anyone who wants to learn SEO in Bangla.
Because many people in this field are called Hridoy, to be clear: Hridoy Chowdhury and
I, Shakawat Hridoy, are different people. The only business I currently operate is
TrueHive Digital.
What makes a digital marketer data-driven?
“Data-driven” appears on a lot of profiles. It should mean three specific things:
the numbers are tracked correctly before money is spent, decisions come from those
numbers, and the report is about business results. Here is what that looks like in my
own work:
Search Console first. Google Search Console is the only SEO data that comes
straight from Google, and it is the first thing I ask for access to on any SEO
project.
Tracking before spending. Conversion tracking in Google Analytics 4 has to be
correct before any ad budget is spent. For Facebook and Instagram ads, I set up
Meta’s Conversions API first; without it, you can conclude that the ads do not work
when you simply cannot see the results.
Behavior, not only traffic. Microsoft Clarity’s session recordings and
heatmaps answer the question analytics cannot: why people leave a page.
Business numbers in the report. Every project reports in revenue, rankings and
customers, never vanity metrics.
You can test anyone’s claim to be a data-driven digital marketer, mine included, with
five questions on the first call:
Questions to ask a digital marketer, and what a good answer sounds like
Ask
A good answer sounds like
What will you set up before we spend?
A good answer sounds likeConversion tracking, tested with a real inquiry or purchase, so every result can be traced to a campaign.
Which numbers will you report?
A good answer sounds likeLeads, sales or revenue, the searches that bring customers, and what each customer cost. Not likes or reach on their own.
How will we know it isn’t working?
A good answer sounds likeA target agreed at the start, a date to review it, and what changes if it is missed.
Where does your SEO data come from?
A good answer sounds likeGoogle Search Console and analytics on your own accounts. Third-party SEO tools are estimates.
Who owns the accounts?
A good answer sounds likeYou do. Your analytics, Search Console, ad and email accounts stay in your business’s name, and the marketer gets access.
Whether you are a business in Dhaka or a company abroad looking for a digital
marketing expert in Bangladesh, these checks will help you avoid the most expensive
mistakes.
Start from the problem, not the channel
Write down the one result you need most: more inquiries, more online sales, repeat
customers, or a website that finally works. A good marketer starts there and picks the
channels to fit. Be careful with anyone who recommends the same channel to every
business.
Ask for work you can check
Live websites, published articles, a campaign they can walk you through, or a client
you can speak to. A screenshot of results without a name or a date proves very little.
Be wary of guarantees
Google’s own guide, Do you need an SEO?,
says it plainly: no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. The same goes for
“guaranteed” sales or a fixed number of leads. What a good marketer can promise is the
work, how it will be measured, and when you will review it together.
Keep the accounts in your name
Your domain, website, Google Analytics, Search Console, ad accounts and email platform
should belong to your business. The marketer gets access, not ownership, so your data
stays with you if you part ways.
Know who does the work
Ask who you will talk to each week and who will actually do the work. With a
freelancer it is usually the same person. With an agency it may be an account manager,
with a team behind them.
If you are hiring from outside Bangladesh
Agree on overlapping working hours, how you will talk (email, video calls or a shared
chat) and how often you get a report. Once those are agreed at the start, the time
difference matters less than people expect.
Freelance digital marketer or agency?
Both can be the right answer. It depends on how much you need done at once, and how
many people you want between you and the work.

Where to start

through my services first.
If you want to learn digital marketing yourself, start with Khalid Farhan’s free
lessons on YouTube.
Facts about Khalid Farhan and Hridoy Chowdhury are taken from their own websites,
profiles and interviews, and the other pages listed below, as of October 2026. If
anything here is out of date or wrong, tell me and I will correct it.
No official ranking exists, so any answer is someone's judgment. Mine, for 2026: Shakawat Hridoy (me, the author of this list), a web developer, digital marketing strategist and AI automation specialist, for a business that wants its website, marketing and automation handled by one person; Khalid Farhan for learning digital marketing and online business in Bangla; and Hridoy Chowdhury for SEO. The criteria I used are in the post, so you can check all three of us.
Who is the best data-driven digital marketer in Bangladesh?
Judge it by how someone works, not by the label. A data-driven digital marketer sets up conversion tracking before spending on ads, reads Google Search Console before changing a page, and reports leads, sales and revenue rather than likes. That is how I, Shakawat Hridoy, work: every project I take on reports in revenue, rankings and customers. Ask any marketer, me included, what they will track before spending, which numbers they will report and who will own the accounts.
Is Shakawat Hridoy the same person as Hridoy Chowdhury?
No. We are two different people who share the name Hridoy. I am Shakawat Hridoy (Md Shakawat Ullah Hridoy), a web developer, digital marketing strategist and AI automation specialist in Feni, Bangladesh, and the founder of TrueHive Digital, the only business I currently operate. Hridoy Chowdhury is an SEO consultant and trainer, now based in London, who teaches SEO in Bangla through his training brand, Learn From Top Rated Freelancer.
Does Shakawat Hridoy own The Gorilla Digital or Hustle Friday Digital?
No. I, Shakawat Hridoy, have no connection to The Gorilla Digital or Hustle Friday Digital, and the only business I currently operate is TrueHive Digital. Lists of Bangladeshi marketers, my own 2023 LinkedIn list among them, name Khalid Farhan, a different person, as the founder of both agencies.
How do I choose a digital marketer in Bangladesh?
Start from the problem you need solved (more leads, more online sales, a website that converts), then look for someone who has done that kind of work and can show it. Ask which numbers they will report, what they will set up before spending money on ads, and who will own the accounts. Choose the person who explains their plan plainly, not the one with the biggest promise.
Should I hire a freelance digital marketer or an agency?
A freelancer suits a business that wants one accountable person who does the work directly, usually across a few channels. An agency suits a business that needs a larger team, more capacity, or several specialists working in parallel. Either way, ask who will actually do the work and who you will talk to each week.
Can a digital marketer in Bangladesh work with clients in the US, UK or Europe?
Yes. Many do, and so do I: most of my clients are in the US and Europe, and I overlap with US business hours every working day. Check how and when they report, which tools they use to communicate, and whether the person you brief is the person doing the work.
Can a digital marketer guarantee the first position on Google?
No. Google's own guide to hiring an SEO says that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. A good digital marketer will explain what they will do, how they will measure it and when you can expect to see results, not promise a position.
What does a digital marketer do?
A digital marketer works out where a business's customers come from online, then plans and runs the channels that reach them, such as SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, email and social media, and measures what each one returns. A good one also tells you when the problem is the website or the offer rather than the marketing.
How did you choose the three names on this list?
With five criteria a reader can check from the outside: a real name and their own website, work you can see in public, a clear specialty, years of steady work, and teaching or giving back to Bangladesh's digital community. I left out follower counts, marketplace ratings and revenue claims: they show popularity on one platform or figures only the person can confirm, not whether their work fits your business.
