Affiliate Disclosure
Some links on this site earn me a commission. Here is exactly which ones, and what that does and does not change.

The short version
A few links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up, I may receive a commission from that company. It costs you nothing, you pay the same price you would pay going direct.
Right now, these are the only ones:
- Hostinger, through
/hostinger/ - Envato Elements, through
/envato-elements/ - Klaviyo, through
/klaviyo/ - GoHighLevel, through
/gohighlevel/ - Seamless.ai, through
/seamless-ai/
Every other link on the site, including the rest of my recommends page, pays me nothing.
What a commission does not buy
A commission has never decided what appears on this site. The rules I hold myself to:
- I only recommend tools I use. Every tool on the recommends page is one I use in client work or on this site. If I stop using something, it comes off the page.
- Free tools get listed too. Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity earn me nothing and are on the page because they are the right answer.
- I will tell you not to buy something. If a cheaper or free option fits your situation better, that is what I will say, in writing, including when the more expensive option pays me.
- No paid placements. Nobody can pay to be added to the recommends page, and no company has editorial input into what I write about them.
Why the links look like shakawathridoy.com/hostinger/
Affiliate links on this site use a short address on my own domain, like/hostinger/, which forwards you to the company. This is standard practice. It keeps the links tidy and lets me fix them in one place when a program changes its URL. It does not add any tracking beyond what the destination company does itself.
Advertising and sponsorship
This site carries no display advertising and no sponsored posts. If that ever changes, any sponsored content will be labeled clearly at the top of the page, before you read it.
The legal bit
This disclosure is made in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), which requires clear disclosure of material connections between a recommender and the products they recommend.
Where a specific program requires particular wording, for example Amazon's Associates Programme Operating Agreement, that wording appears alongside the relevant link.
If something here is unclear
Ask me. If a recommendation on this site ever reads like it was written for the commission rather than for you, I would genuinely rather hear about it.
Questions about any of this? Send me a message.
